Due to the eruption of the Mount Sinabung, there have been canceled 112 flights to and from Bali. Australian airlines also canceled their flights to and from the island, which is the most touristic of the country.

The volcano began firing lava and thick ash clouds cover the sky.

The Mount Sinabung is one of the 129 active volcanoes in Indonesia, located in the "Ring of Fire" of the Pacific, a large area which is particularly seismic and is directly affected by movement and collisions of tectonic plates.
