The Corporate Associates Presidential Group (CAPG) of the International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) will host a dedicated panel session at the 21st International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ICSMGE 2026) in Vienna, Austria.

CAPG, established in 2011 under the initiative of ISSMGE President Prof. Jean-Louis Briaud, serves as the bridge between industry and the global geotechnical research community. Under the current chairmanship of Dr. Roger Estephan, the group has been actively working to promote the profession, attract new corporate members, and enhance the visibility of industry contributions at major international events.

The Vienna panel session is part of a broader CAPG presence at ICSMGE 2026, which will also feature the presentation of Outstanding Projects demonstrating excellence in innovation and sustainable geotechnical practice. Attendance is open to ICSMGE 2026 delegates.
