Keynetix is proud to announce the cooperation with HS2 Contractors! High Speed 2 Phase 1, the new railway line between London and Birmingham, has been the talk of our industry for several years and we are now within weeks of the main bulk of the site investigation starting.
The specification includes the requirement for all contractors to produce AGS 4 data within very tight timescales and borehole logs to a required standard. To assist all data suppliers, HS2 has appointed Keynetix as an advisor with the specification, checking and issuing of AGS data for the work packages in the project.
To ensure consistency of the AGS data Keynetix are making available a number of HoleBASE SI component files to assist with the setting up of HoleBASE SI for use on the HS2 contracts. These files will consist of HS2 specific pick list entries, additional field requirements and example log templates. All HS2 components will be available to download from the Keynetix Knowledgebase shortly and will be available to all users free of charge.
With an estimated 74km of the 254km route in cuttings and 53km in tunnels the Site Investigation work is likely to be considerable and sustained over many years. This will no doubt have a knock on effect in the rest of the industry as a considerable percentage of the capacity will be utilised on the HS2 project.
