Keynetix are pleased to announce the release of the Data Entry Tool and standalone Data Entry Module along with other major enhancements in the latest release of their popular geotechnical data management application HoleBASE SI.
This release of HoleBASE SI also contains powerful mapping features to enable users to set up and theme system level mapping datasets from SHP files or DXF files, together with a full set of environmental trigger capability and exciting new features to allow users to quickly view saved searches and location groups. However the big star of this release is definitely the data entry process that has now been added to HoleBASE SI.
Keynetix’s goal was to create a tool that was the quickest and easiest way to enter data into HoleBASE SI. They have set themselves a high benchmark as they wanted it to be even quicker and easier than using Excel and initial user feedback has been very positive.
“I am really impressed”, said Paul Dunlop of Causeway Geotech in Northern Ireland; “I was a little worried by the data entry but what we have with the data entry tool is exactly what we need.”
The Data Entry Tool has different data entry profiles, so your users will see different screens depending on what type of data they are entering. Each Profile contains a series of steps, and each step can contain one or more data entry grids so you can enter similar data on the same screen.
