Island Echo recently released aerial footage from an area in the town of Ventnor, which was hit by a massive landslip on the evening of Sunday, December 10.
Furthermore, Ventnor is a seaside resort town on the southeast coast of the Isle of Wright in England.
The incident caused around 20 houses to be evacuated amid fears of collapse, while it swallowed several gardens.
The council stated that temporary accommodation has been provided, while the majority of households preferred to stay with friends and family.
Nearby Leeson Road remains closed between Bonchurch Shute and Shanklin.
Finally, it is worth noting that the landslip occurred after several consecutive months of heavy rainfall in the area, which exceeded 200mm in October and November.
