4.3 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Eastern Kentucky- Not caused by humans!
The November 10th 2012 Magnitude 4.3 Kentucky earthquake was too deep to be caused by human activities, such as underground mining, the Kentucky Geological Survey announced.
The earthquake initiated at a depth of 12 miles, and its epicenter was about 10 miles west of Whitesburg, as reported in the Associated Press report.
