Macstars 2000 checks the stability of reinforced soil slopes. It carries out a global stability analysis of a reinforced or un-reinforced slope by using the limit equilibrium method. It can be conducted to check the stability of a non-reinforced slope, prior to considering the reinforcements. The internal stability check allows the user to determine the design of the retaining structure, that is the reinforcing units required (type, spacing between reinforcing unit, length).
