A large landslide hit the Jammu-Srinagar highway near Seri village, in the district of Ramban, India, on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 7th.
Shortly after, the highway, which at the time accommodated heavy traffic, was shut and excavators were utilized to clear debris.
A second landslide hit within an hour and the aftermath of the events was a crane operator’s loss of life, as well as six more people injured in a vehicle getting trapped and another one rolling down a gorge.
