Pile-MP

Pile-MP calculates the bearing capacity of a single pile, or minipile, or a group of minipiles, carrying any loading combination (moment, normal force and shear). Structural calculation yields dimensions of longitudinal reinforcement and tie bars. Program features: Bored and driven piles. Conical pile calculation. Vertical load capacity calculation (Berezantzev, Hansen, Janbu, Vesic or Terzaghi). Lateral bearing capacity (Tomlinson). Seismic corrections (Sano, Okamoto or Vesic). Any number of soil layers. Presence of the ground water table. Short and long term analysis. Settlements (Davis-Poulos). Calculation of horizontal reaction (Chiarugi-Maia or Bowles). Analysis of stress by non-linear Finite Element method. Boundary conditions and nodal actions may be assigned. Structural calculation of permissible tension and ultimate limit state according to EC2. Calculation of limit horizontal load. Evaluation of failure moment for the section. Single or grouped minipiles (Tubifix or Radice). For piles, multiple combinations of diameter and length may be submitted for calculation. Printable / exportable result tables displayed on completion of calculation. For a single pile deformation, moment, shear, pressure diagrams can be requested. Reports may be edited in preview, printed or exported to any text processor in RTF format.
