This program is used to verify retaining walls made of prefabricated blocks (retaining block walls). The main features of the GEO5 Prefab Wall program are:
- Verification analysis can be performed employing EN 1997-1, LRFD or classical approach (limit states, the factor of safety)
- EN 1997 – option to choose partial factors based on National Annexes
- EN 1997 – option to choose all design approaches, consider design situations
- Internal stability analysis (overturning, slip, load-bearing capacity of foundation soil)
- Possibility to define any specific size of the block (part of the wall)
- Generally layered soil environment
- Built-in database of soil parameters
- Arbitrary number of surcharges applied to structures (strip, trapezoidal, concentrated load)
- Arbitrary number of inserted forces (anchors, safety fences, etc.)
- Modeling of water in front of and behind structures, modeling of artesian water
- General shape of terrain behind the structure
- Front face resistance in front of the structure (at rest, passive, reduced passive)
- New types of the foundation below the prefab wall (strip footing, piles)
- Berms in front of the structure
- Analysis of earth pressures in effective and total parameters
- Possibility to consider minimum dimensioning pressure
- Earthquake effects (Mononobe-Okabe, Arrango, Chinese standards)
- Supports mesh overhangs with anchorage
- Multiple construction stages
- Dimensioning (check for overturning stability and slip)
