The moment a building collapsed after a landslide in Tijuana, Mexico, was caught on video.

Furthermore, the incident took place on the morning of Sunday, April 9, following the collapse of another nearby building in the La Sierra Development almost a week earlier, after the underlying ground gave way.

According to Mexico Daily Post, the building’s collapse was attributed to lack of proper regulation in construction, combined with the ground’s instability. The same source stated how the local residents are concerned that adequate geotechnical investigations were not carried out prior to the building’s construction permit being issued.
