The software allows the processing of downhole seismic tests for the P waves and S waves using the direct method and the interval method. <br>The software has an integrated system for the extraction of the first arrivals, both for the P waves and S waves starting from the data in SEG2 file format.
Download DocumentationThe downhole seismic method (DH) measures the time taken for the P and S waves to move between a seismic source located on the surface of the ground, and the receivers, placed inside a borehole.
Once entered the information for the project, the depth reached and the travel times, we can get:
• the distances from source to receiver
• corrected travel times
• velocities of P and S waves
• important geotechnical parameters
• the travel time graphic with seismic layers from which can be determined the average velocity in each layer, average geotechnical parameters and VS30
• the graphic of P and S waves interval velocity and definition of seismic layer
• graphics relating to geotechnical parameters, derived for each interval
• the stratigraphy of the borehole
• the final report
The import of SEG2 files ensures to this software a high compatibility with the working tools.
• Traces are shown for each depth
• View of waves S1 and S2 superimposed to detect the phase inversion
• Simultaneous display of all waves (P, S1, S2, S1 + S2) for all depths
• Phase inversion for the wave S1 or S2 wave
• Management of the double geophone
• Normalization of traces
• Filtration of traces
• Elimination of the continuous component of the signals
• Interpretation with Direct Method or Interval Method
