Although it is surreal, this bright blue color is about chemistry from which the color of lava changes from red to blue.
As it is shown in the photographs of the artist Reuben Wu, the lava of Indonesian volcano is blue and the crater is called Blue Fire, as it is famous for its sulphurous lava which shimmers with an impressive blue reminiscent sapphire.
