An explorer and adventurer along with a co-explorer and filmmaker dived into an active volcano's crater and filmed their adventure. Watch this breathtaking adventure of the two men in the video below!
George Kourounis, Sam Cossman accompanied by two guides spent four days on the active volcano in the archipelago of Vanuatu in the South Pacific and dived twice into the Marum crater. They were especially equipped with protective suits and cameras to film their descend to a crater 1,2000ft deep, this being "as deep as the Empire State Building is tall" according to Kourounis himself. It was a "window into hell" with a red-hot lava lake, splashing of rocks and acid rain.
