So sad to hear about Prof. Wood is passing away.

After each of the many interactions, starting from the soil dynamics committee, I had with Prof. Wood , I was left with a profound regard of his gracious , gentle and helpful personality. His contributions in the development of dynamic testing facilities at prestigious Indian Institutions will be remembered forever. Last time I met him at a conference at IIT Roorkee in India full of usual zeal and drive for the profession . A giant indeed among the professionals.
