Drone footage captured excavators clearing the road by removing soil and rocks, leading to a long queue of vehicles on the major expressway. A strong earthquake hit off the coast of eastern Japan on Saturday. Dozens were injured according to local reports. Close to a million households were left without power in the region, leading to the closure of roads and suspension of train services. The earthquake's magnitude was reported as 7.3, up from an initial assessment of 7.1 by the country's meteorological service. According to authorities, there is no threat of a tsunami.
