The Dongguan International Trade Center 1 opened

Minying International Trade Center T2 is a supertall skyscraper in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. It has a height of 423 m. Construction began in 2014 and was completed in 2021. The 96 floor tower opened on September 26, 2021, and is the fourteenth-tallest building in China and the tallest building in Dongguan.

Beijing Daxing International Airport opened

Beijing Daxing International Airport, is one of two international airports serving Beijing, the other one being Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK). It is located on the border of Beijing and Langfang, Hebei Province. It has been nicknamed "the starfish." It was completed on June 30, 2019, and began operations on September 26, 2019. After almost five years of construction, the CN¥ 80 billion (US$11.4 billion) facility features a 700,000 m2 (7,500,000 sq ft) terminal, the world's largest single-building airport terminal, and sits on 47 km2 (18 sq mi) of land. The airport won awards for best hygiene measures and best in size and region in 2020, and both awards plus Voice of the Customer in 2021 by Airports Council International.

Harbin Metro opened

The Harbin Metro is the rapid transit system of Harbin, the provincial capital of Heilongjiang Province in northeastern China. The system began operation on 26 September 2013 with the opening of Line 1. The system has a total of three lines as of November 2021.

1997 Umbria and Marche earthquake

The 1997 Umbria and Marche earthquake occurred in the regions of Umbria and Marche, central Italy. It was preceded by a foreshock almost as strong as the main quake. The foreshock occurred at 02:33 CEST (00:33 UTC), rated Mw5.7, and the second - the main shock - occurred at 11:40 CEST (09:40 UTC), rated Mw?6.0. Their epicentre was in Annifo. The mainshock was assigned X (Extreme) and foreshock VIII (Severe) on the Mercalli intensity scale. There were several thousands of foreshocks and aftershocks from May 1997 to April 1998, more than thirty of which had a magnitude more than 3.5. Eleven people are known to have died following the shocks.

Storstrøm Bridge opened

The Storstrøm Bridge is a road and railway arch bridge that crosses Storstrømmen between the islands of Falster and Masnedø in Denmark. Together with Masnedsund Bridge it connects Falster and Zealand. It was the main road connection between the islands until the Farø Bridges were opened in 1985. It is still part of the railway connection between the islands of Lolland, Falster, and Zealand. It is on the rail line between Copenhagen and Hamburg, Germany. The Storstrøm Bridge is 3,199 metres long and 9 metres wide. The three tied-arch main spans have lengths of 103.9 m, 137.8 m and 103.9 m, respectively. The bridge has a total of 50 spans.

King Carol I Bridge opened

The Anghel Saligny Bridge, formerly King Carol I Bridge, is a complex of two railroad truss bridges in Romania, across the Danube River and the Borcea branch of the Danube, connecting the regions of Muntenia and Dobruja. The bridge is listed in the National Register of Historic Monuments.
