Lusail Stadium is a football stadium in Lusail, Qatar. It is the largest stadium in Qatar and the Middle East by capacity, with a 88,966 people capacity.

2012 Indian Ocean earthquakes

The 2012 Indian Ocean earthquakes were magnitude 8.6 and 8.2 Mw? undersea earthquakes that struck near the Indonesian province of Aceh on 11 April at 15:38 local time. Ten are killed, twelve are injured, and a non-destructive tsunami is observed on the island of Nias.

Brooks Hall inaugurated

The Brooks Hall is a 8,400m2 event space underneath the southern half of Civic Center Plaza in San Francisco. Brooks Hall was built with a tunnel underneath Grove Street, with its foundation consisting of a large, 3+1?2 ft (1.1 m) thick concrete slab measuring 287 by 374 feet (87 m × 114 m) floating on fill and sand.

The city of Tel Aviv is founded

Located on the Israeli Mediterranean coastline, Tel Aviv-Yafo, often referred to as just Tel Aviv, is the most populous city in the Gush Dan metropolitan area of Israel. On 11 April 1909, 66 Jewish families gathered on a desolate sand dune to parcel out the land by lottery using seashells. This gathering is considered the official date of the establishment of Tel Aviv.

The Royal Concertgebouw opened

Located in Amsterdam, Netherlands, the Royal Concertgebouw is a concert hall with superb acoustics that ranks it among the finest in the world. With a total of 2,186 wooden piles, twelve to thirteen metres (40 to 43 ft) long, emplaced in the soil, its construction lasted from 1883 to 1886.
