Keller, CRH, Fluor, National Grid, and Burns & McDonnell join forces with the Supply Chain Sustainability School, advancing sustainability practices across the US supply chains.
Supply Chain Sustainability School will launch in the United States in January 2025. Recognized as a leading platform for sustainability training in the UK, Ireland, and Australia, the School will offer free industry-supported training, knowledge sharing, and resources to promote best practices in sustainability within the US construction industry.
Key industry stakeholders have gathered to affirm their commitment to enhancing sustainability initiatives across their supply chains. Founding Partners from various sectors, including Burns & McDonnell, CRH, Fluor, Keller Group, National Grid, and Skanska, underscored their dedication to collaborative approaches to address significant environmental challenges.
Keller is excited to support the School's launch in the United States. By providing our supply chain with access to sustainability training and resources, we are not only enhancing our own practices but also contributing to a more sustainable future for the entire industry.
Ian Heptonstall, Founder and Director of the Supply Chain Sustainability School, said: “Over the past 12 years, we have seen firsthand how effective collaboration and strong partnerships can advance sustainability in our industry. We are committed to using our experience to encourage collaboration among US industry stakeholders and tackle shared challenges like climate change and social responsibility.”
The US School is committed to providing free learning opportunities, facilitating knowledge sharing, and promoting a collaborative approach to addressing critical sustainability challenges, including energy and carbon, sustainability reporting, environmental management, waste and circular economy, biodiversity, community engagement, and supplier diversity.
The Supply Chain Sustainability School will launch on January 29, 2025, and will be free to join. It will offer access to hundreds of accredited online sustainability training sessions and valuable e-learning resources.
Companies interested in collaborating with industry peers to shape the School's development for the US supply chain can become Partners. Those who sign up before the official launch on January 29, 2025, will receive Founding Partner status and additional benefits, including the opportunity to influence the School’s strategy as an advisory board member during the first year. For more information on partnership opportunities, contact the School team here.
The Supply Chain Sustainability School is a multi-award-winning initiative which represents a common approach to addressing sustainability within supply chains. Leadership is provided by a School Board comprising elected representatives of Founding Partners, responsible for fiscal governance and strategic direction. A Code of Ethics is signed by all Partners as part of the School Constitution and Partners lead the direction of the School content and activities through leadership groups.
