We Will Be Leading the following Sessions:

8:00am - 9:00am: 

Direct Push Sampling applications based upon geologic conditions

This active outdoor demonstration will cover Direct Push tooling options, sampling techniques, and overcoming sampling issues in the field.  Team Geoprobe® will examine site specific geologic conditions and review the tooling and sampling methods available for those conditions.  This active demonstration will show:

• Discrete Soil & Groundwater Sampling
• Continuous Soil Sampling  w/ flexible sampling options
• Multiple Applications with Direct Push tooling
• Overcoming sampling issues in the field

9:15am - 10:15am

Prepack Monitoring Well Installation
(ASTM Standards D6724 & D6725)

This active outdoor demonstration will cover proper installation of prepack monitoring wells based on the ASTM Standards D6724 & D6725.  Advantages of Direct Push wells include minimal disturbance to the natural formation, fast installation technique, and generates little to no cuttings at the surface.  With the advancement of larger Direct Push machines, dual cased and even triple cased wells are now an option to help eliminate cross contamination of aquifers.

10:30am - 11:30am

Sonic Drilling: “Not just a Buzz word”

Sonic - It’s not just a buzz word.  Sonic Drilling technologies have greatly advanced in the past 10 years.  This active demonstration will explore sonic drilling methods and field applications.  Sonic is being used for a vast array of projects including environmental and geotechnical.  Team Geoprobe® will openly discuss and demonstrate current sonic technologies.
