The 6th International Conference on Geotechnical Engineering

Consistent with several of the goals of ISSMGE, this International Conference intends to focus on interaction between academicians and practitioners for the development of better solutions.

We were the pioneers of this International Conference in Semarang, Indonesia, in 2002 and have continued to host it since then. The conference has grown and become a tribute to this day. We have actively sought to bridge the gap between geotechnical engineering research and practice.

We have also managed to stabilize academic relations with a number of countries in South East Asia.
