The Purdue Geotechnical Society is pleased to announce the 11th edition of the Purdue Geotechnical Workshop and 11th G.A. Leonards Lecture that will take place on Friday April 19, 2013 on the Purdue campus in West Lafayette, Indiana. The 2013 PGS workshop is entitled "Soilmakers: Engineering Soil for Geoenvironmental Applications". The theme of the workshop is inspired by the topic of this year's Leonards Lecture, in honor of Professor G.A. Leonards, a Purdue geotech faculty member from 1946 to 1991 and a great of the geotechnical engineering profession.
