The Nordic Geotechnical Meetings have historically been gatherings where geotechnical engineers from the Nordic countries meet and share experiences and knowledge. The history of NGM goes back to 1950 when the first meeting was held in Stockholm, Sweden. Since then, the meeting has been held every 4th year with two exceptions; 1975 and 1984.
