The Thai Geotechnical Society (TGS), under the auspices of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) and in association with the Engineering Institute of Thailand (EIT), will host the 18th Asian Regional Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (18ARC) from 9 - 13 November 2027 at The Impact Forum, Bangkok.
18ARC continues a tradition that began in New Delhi in 1960 and has since travelled across Asia, including two earlier visits to Bangkok (1971 and 1991) and recent editions in Taipei (2019) and Astana, Kazakhstan (2023, 636 participants from more than 90 countries).
