The 14th International Conference of the International Association for Computer Methods and Advances in Geomechanics (14IACMAG) will be held in Kyoto during September 22-25, 2014.
The aim of the conference is to give an up-to-date picture of the broad research field of computational geomechanics. Contributions from experts around the world will cover a wide range of research topics in geomechanics as well as in areas that may not necessarily involve computer methods such as:
Eleven Plenary Lectures, fifteen General Sessions and fifteen Minisymposia will be organized in the conference.
Each plenary lecture has 45 minutes for presentation and discussion. For all General Sessions, each presentation has 15 minutes including discussion. For all Minisymposia, each presentation has basically 15 minutes, and the Organizers will provide the overview and opportunity for discussion among the speakers and the audience.
