XXI Technical Dam Control International Conference

We are honored to invite you to the XXI Technical Dam Control International Conference (TKZ2025). The conference will be held from the 9th to the 12th of September 2025 in Krakow, Poland.

The conference theme, Challenges in Hydraulic Engineering, is a response to current problems and new threats to the safe operation of hydraulic structures and their impact on the safety of people and the environment in climate change conditions. The flood was proposed as the main topic in the light of the natural disasters caused by torrential rains that have recently hit Poland and many other parts of the world. Subsequent topics focus on dam safety, the role of geotechnics in water engineering and problems in the exploitation, monitoring, maintenance, and renovation of hydraulic structures, as well as the design and construction technologies of new water engineering facilities. The conference will provide an excellent opportunity to discuss the hydraulic engineering challenges.

We are pleased to provide a platform for presenting new research results and solutions, sharing experiences and discussing water-related issues. The conference will give an excellent opportunity to meet friends from the water engineering industry and make new acquaintances, expanding professional networks.

The Technical Dam Control International Conference is organized every two years. The 21st edition of the conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing you to participate in the conference in person or online via a streaming platform. Polish and English are the official conference languages.

During the technical tour of the conference, participants will have the opportunity to visit the Dobczyce Reservoir, built in 1986 on the Raba River.

We invite companies to offer their products and knowledge in the exhibition space to conference participants and encourage new partners to support the event. We are convinced that such cooperation will be fruitful for all conference participants.
