Geotechnical investigations are on their way for the metro line in Doha. The $1.37 million project is about to complete and soil parameters will soon be delivered to rail line designers.
A leading provider of geotechnical engineering, materials testing and consulting services, Advanced Construction Services (ACTS) was assigned the $1.37 million worth geotechnical investigations along three lines of the Doha metro system. Geotechnical works involve extensive soil testing for the main three lines (Green, Red and Gold) of Qatar's Metro, reported the Peninsula. Thirty one stations will be constructed along the 65km Red line while the 30.6km long Golden line will host 20 stations.
Soil testing and ground investigations were completed and soon soil parameters will be delivered to the rail line designers, Khaled Awad, chairman and founder of ACTS stated.
