The 8th South American Congress on Rock Mechanics

The Argentinian Geotechnical Engineering Society (SAIG) is pleased to invite you to the 8th South American Congress on Rock Mechanics which will be held in in Buenos Aires (Argentina) from 15th to 18th November 2015.

The Congress will be held in parallel with the 15th Pan-American Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (XV PCSMGE) and the the 6th International Symposium of Deformation Characteristics of Soils (IC- BA2015)

Call for papers/abstracts:
You are invited to submit abstracts in the following areas of interest:
Rock properties and testing methods
Rock mass characterization
Design methods and analysis
Monitoring and back analisis
Hydrogeology of rock mass
Undergroung excavations in rock
Rock slope engineering
Excavation and support metods
Mining rock mechanics

Petroleum engineering and hydrofracking

February 28, 2015 Notification of paper acceptance
April 30, 2015 Deadline for on-line submission of final edited technical papers
