Video by Graham Hunt Huge landslide on the cliffs at Seatown in Dorset A huge crack in the top of the 600ft cliff at Seatown, Dorset, had opened up following a landslip there in 2021. Experts said it was only a matter of time before the rest of the unstable cliff would go and this has now come to pass. Thousands of tonnes of mud and rock has slumped from the sandstone beach onto the beach, blocking it off to the public. It has taken a 2,000ft wide section out of the 180 million year old cliffs. The landslide looked similar to the slide that occurred at Torrey Pines beach, San Diego in January this year #dorset #landslide #weathernews #landslip
