TatukGIS Developer Kernel for Python

The TatukGIS Developer Kernel for Python (DK for Python) is a powerful, general-purpose GIS library designed for the Python programming language. The DK for Python edition is available - for personal, educational, or commercial use - under two license possibilities:

1. Free license. Any code created using the product must be open source. Unsupported.
2. Purchased license. No open-source requirement. Supported by TatukGIS developers.

Built using the same approach as built-in Python classes, the DK for Python behaves like any other Python package and is compatible with any IDE supporting Python (PyCharm, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, PyScripter, and others). DK for Python code can be used with other Python modules such as NumPy and Matplotlib (see example).

The DK for Python API includes hundreds of classes and thousands of methods and properties designed for professional GIS development for Windows, MacOS, Linux, etc. Because DK.Python support is built into the desktop TatukGIS Editor product, DK for Python created code can be reused without modification as Editor scripts.

The DK for Python library is available under a free license.
