Bentley Systems announced the acquisition of Keynetix, a UK-headquartered provider of cloud-based software for capturing, visualizing, modeling, and sharing of geotechnical data.

A cloud-based database of UK geological and geotechnical data and 3D ground models could soon become a reality, thanks to new research led by geotechnical data company Keynetix and supported by the British Geological Survey (BGS), Atkins and Autodesk.

Mr. Roger Chandler, Keynetix's Managing Director, recently attended the IFCEE Exhibition in San Antonio, Texas, USA. The International Foundations Congress and Equipment Expo is regarded as one of the noteworthy event for Professionals in the Foundation Industry. The Conference had over 150 exhibitors and over 2,700 visitors including contractors, equipment manufacturers, engineers, university professors and more.
