The Third Vietnam Symposium on Advances in Offshore Engineering

The VSOE committee is excited to announce the upcoming third Symposium, with a focus on "Interdisciplinary and Integrated Solutions for Sustainable Offshore Infrastructure." This event is scheduled to take place in Hanoi, Vietnam, from December 12th to 14th, 2024. The aim of VSOE 2024 is to drive forward the sustainable development and resilience of offshore infrastructure while ensuring environmental protection and effective management of marine activities.

Building on the success of two previous symposia (VSOE 2018 and VSOE 2021/2022), VSOE 2024 will continue to serve as a dynamic platform for participants to share and discuss the latest advancements in offshore engineering, innovative technologies, and integrated approaches. The symposium is committed to fostering economic, reliable, and environmentally friendly solutions for the development of offshore energy and infrastructure.

VSOE 2024 invites researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and entrepreneurs to engage in this forward-looking dialogue. The symposium will provide opportunities to explore technological advancements, policy developments, and emerging trends in the field. VSOE 2024 is organized under the auspices of the TC-209: Offshore geotechnics of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) and the Vietnam Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (VSSMGE).
