The 13th Baltic Sea Geotechnical Conference

On behalf of the ISSMGE, the Lithuanian Geotechnical Society, Vilnius University, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Kaunas University of Technology and Klaipėda University warmly invite you to participate in the 13th Baltic Sea Region Geotechnical Conference, which will be held in Vilnius, Vilnius University, Universiteto St. 3, on the 22-24th of September, 2016.

Conference Topics

Each of these thematic areas is expanded below. Please note that the list of sub-topics is not exhaustive. Papers may address one or more of the listed sub-topics. In addition, authors should not feel limited to the list as unlisted yet related sub-topics are also acceptable, provided they fall within one of the following main thematic areas:

• Geotechnical art and historical experiences
• Soil and rock investigation
• Design experiences and theoretical solutions
• Geoenvironmental engineering
• Case studies
• Foundation construction
• Transport infrastructure

The Conference will have a particular focus on special topics, such as geotechnical construction problems, improvement methods or erosion control.
