Pile Dynamics, Inc presents a one-day workshop on the State of Practice: Quality Control and Quality Assurance of Deep Foundations and various testing methods. The workshop will take place on Friday, November 15, 2019, from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., at Four Points by Sheraton French Quarter. The workshop's lecturers are George Piscsalko, P.E. the President of Pile Dynamics, Inc., and Ryan Allin, P.E., a senior engineer and partner in GRL Engineers and Pile Dynamics.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Assess capacity of driven piles, drilled shafts and ACIP piles by various field-testing applications including Dynamic Load Testing with the PDA, CAPWAP analysis and Static Load Tests
Assess Integrity of drilled shafts by various NDT methods including Thermal Integrity Profiling, Shaft Quantitative Inspection, Shaft Area Profile Evaluation, Crosshole Sonic Logging, and Low Strain Integrity Testing
Learn the advantages and limitations of various integrity and capacity methods, and choosing the appropriate methods for analysis

OPTIONAL: Dynamic Measurement and Analysis Proficiency Test offered

CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION

This program corresponds to 6.5 Professional Development Hours. A Certificate of Participation documenting the number of hours of instruction (PDH) will be provided to those in attendance. Check with your engineering board of registration for their continuing education requirements.
