Managing Your Geotechnical Engineering Career Trajectory and the Trajectory of the Profession
Decisions made early in a career in geotechnical engineering can shape one’s career trajectory. The Committee on Geological and Geotechnical Engineering (COGGE) will host a panel of geoprofessionals at different stages in their careers to discuss the choices, events, and circumstances which shaped their careers, how they benefited from mentoring, and how mentoring can positively impact the future the geo-related professions. COGGE member Rula Deeb (Geosyntec) will moderate a discussion on these topics with Lizan Gilbert (Kiewit), Allen Marr (Geocomp), Priscilla Nelson (Colorado School of Mines), and Sissy Nikolaou (NIST). Webinar participants will have the opportunity to submit questions to the panel.
