Thermal Integrity Profiling is a non-destructive integrity test method used for evaluating the post-construction quality of cast-in-place foundations. This method uses the temperature measurements, or hydration energy, from the curing cement to assess integrity.

Pile Dynamics, Inc, (PDI) has committed to an educational effort in the Quality Control of Deep Foundations for 2018.

PDI TOMO 3D Tomographic Software

PDI-TOMO is a 3D tomography imaging tool that supplements the CHAMP output. It analyzes wave speeds (derived from arrival time data from the scans of all pairs of tubes) to yield a wave speed map of the entire shaft volume.

Pile Dynamics and GRL Engineers launched their newly redesigned websites!

2017 marks the 45-year milestone for Pile Dynamics, Inc.

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) concurrently had funded a research project on large diameter pipe piles with Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), for which GRL had agreed to provide in-kind support. GRL, CWRU, and ODOT developed an instrumentation plan to satisfy the needs of both projects by collecting measurements during pile driving and during static load testing.
