RetWall caters to the general needs for the design of retaining wall (cantilever or gravity)with
a geotechnical engineering flavor as it calculates the bearing capacity of the multilayerd soil
system as a function of the wall's shape and applied loads, estimates the settlement,
determines the overall stability (including seismic loadings), accounts for the presence of a
slope in front or behind the wall, seismic analysis etc... Then the user may investigate the
wall's structural integrity and determine the required steel reinforcement.
