Bearing Capacity ans Settlement of Shallow Foundation
BearFoot calculates the ultimate and allowable bearing capacity of shallow foundations based
on Six different methods including SPT and CPT, and calculates the settlement in accordance to
two methods. Analyzes the cases of inclined footings, footings on or near a slope, inclined
loading, or a combination of all of the above, multiple soil layers with our without a water
table, etc... Simple input / output screen eliminating the need to hop between various screens
and reducing the requirements for paper consumption.
