Members of GEER (Geo-Engineering Extreme Events Reconnaissance), will be presenting several special sessions during the Fifth International Conference on Recent Advances in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering and Soil Dynamics and Symposium in Honor of Professor I.M. Idriss. These experts will address issues surrounding recent earthquakes in Haiti, Chile, Peru, Italy, China, Japan, Pakistan and Honduras, and the tsunami in American Samoa.
