HUDSON, MA – December 1, 2009 – Andy Brengola, P.E. has been named District Manager of Nicholson Construction Company’s New England district office in Hudson, MA. In his new position, Mr. Brengola will oversee Nicholson’s New England construction operations and business development efforts.
Mr. Brengola has a B.S. degree in civil engineering from Syracuse University and an M.S. degree in geotechnical engineering from Tufts University. Prior to joining Nicholson, he was the New England Area Manager for Hayward Baker and worked as a geotechnical engineer for Haley and Aldrich in Boston. He is a registered professional engineer in Maryland and is a member of several organizations including the Boston Society of Civil Engineers, the Deep Foundations Institute, and the New England
Marine and Foundation Contractors.

Nicholson’s New England district office was the former headquarters of Terra Drilling Company, which Nicholson acquired in January 2009. The acquisition has strengthened Nicholson’s position in the New England market, where Terra Drilling had completed hundreds of piling, earth retention, and grouting projects since it was founded in 1984.
