Gregg Drilling & Testing, Inc. (Gregg) is pleased to announce that we have increased our capability to collect vibratory core (vibracore) sediment samples. Gregg recently purchased two types of pneumatic vibracores that now give us the ability to collect 20', 30' and 40' long sediment samples.
Combined with our deep water electric vibracore and portable wetland vibracore, Gregg now owns every type and size of vibracore ever manufactured.
Vibracoring is an efficient and versatile procedure for obtaining long, well-preserved cores in consolidated water-saturated sediments from wetlands, harbors, lakes and the deep ocean. It allows for deep penetration in a single deployment and a high core recovery where other approaches prove either inappropriate or impractical.
