Grout at Macombs Dam Bridge

Most recently the New York region of Nicholson Construction has been working with the New York City Department of Transportation (NYCDOT) to strengthen the bridge pier foundation at Macombs Dam Bridge. The swing bridge is located over the Harlem River between Manhattan and the Bronx, and is a main route to and from Yankee Stadium. It originally opened in 1895, making it the third oldest bridge in New York City, and it was designated a historic landmark back in January 1992.

Nicholson Construction was recently awarded the secant pile wall contract for the Maline Creek combined sewer overflow (CSO) facility project in St Louis, Missouri. The facility, which will collect CSO from three outfalls, is located in northern St. Louis, within the Bissell Point Service Area.
