This photo was taken by D. Zekkos on August 2002. You could think
that this photo is fake but no, it is real! It was taken in the
wonderful beach of Myrtos in Cefalonia, Greece. The authorities
have placed next to a big landslide a sign warning about the
hazard, but these tourists seem to feel safe just a few meters from
this big landslide, surrounded by large fallen rocks.


Consider also the fact that this incident occurred in the summer,
when great temperature differences occur between day and night,
making even worse the stability of rock masses.
