Geotechnical Directory

Field Measurement in Geomechanics: The site is hosted by the NGI and includes a lot of interesting resources related to field
measurements, such as papers, references and photos.

Geotechnical Application of Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR): The site contains copies of selected papers from the 1994 and
2001 Symposium. Press "2001 Symposium" to see the papers. Also coming will be links to active sites where structural
response can be observed.

Autonomous Crack Monitoring: This site contains copies of selected papers on this new approach to control and monitoring of
construction vibrations as well as access to operational sites where readers can observe actual day to day response of cracks.

In situ Flat Dilatometer (DMT). Bibliographic site, run by Prof. Marchetti. Lot of downloadable papers and photos.

Websites on in-situ testing & site characterization. We thank Paul W. Mayne for proposing this site

Videos on in-situ testing We thank Paul W. Mayne for proposing this site.

All about earthquake engineering. Even though the constructor of this site seems to have abandoned it, it is quite interesting
since it has many hyperlinks. The text is in Greek.

Where to geo. The site contains a lot of interesting site in Geoengineering.

The Jan T. Kozak Collection of historical earthquake slides Included photos from Greek historical earthquakes

Photos of the San Francisco earthquake and fire provided from the Museum of the City of San Francisco

Geologic Resources, A nice website with Resources for Geoscientists, Engineers, and Related Professionals

Geoforum, An interesting portal with a lot of resources and discussion forums.

Geosynthetica.net: is a free on-line technical information resource for those working with all manner of geosynthetics

GeosIndex is a searchable, sortable compilation of geosynthetic materials test values (ASTM, ISO and CEN) provided to assist
engineers, designers, specifiers, regulators and others with the design and specification of geosynthetic materials of all types.

Geotechdata.info is an open-source database of geomechanical experimental results. The project is initiated with the aim of
promoting information and knowledge exchange among people working in geomechanics including graduate students, academic
researchers as well as industrial engineers.
