Structures on top of the Hayward fault trace
The structure shown in the figures is on top of the trac
of the Hayward fault. Bolts are used to try to
strengthen the masonry structure. In figure 2 you can
see the right-lateral movement of the fault resulting in
the deformation of the wall of the structure.
