Editorial
It is really exciting to see how many colleagues respond in the effort of the Geoengineer website to provide for free, useful and educational information in geotechnical engineering. Very interesting material was sent by visitors resulting to this issue of the Geoengineer Newsletter. Many visitors also were very excited by the new session "Top 10 papers in Geotechnical Engineering", which was first launched in the previous newsletter. We requested Dr. Kavazanjian and Dr. Matasovic, leading colleagues in landfill engineering, to propose a list of the best papers in the properties of Municipal Solid Waste. We are grateful to their response and we hope visitors will find this list useful. Many ideas are still pending and material is to be submitted in the near future. At the same time the members of this newsletter now exceed 1400 members. Statistics on the number of members of the newsletter can be found here.
Please keep on sending material, suggesting ideas and providing feedback. The benefits are for the whole geo-community.
