    Geoengineer.org Newsletter Issue #46
A monthly publication of Geoengineer.org website
    October 2008

    Greetings

we hope you will enjoy the 46th issue of the Geoengineer.org Newsletter.

Geoengineer.org staff attended the "33rd Annual Conference on Deep Foundations & 11th International Conference on Piling and Deep Foundations", which took place on 15-17 October 2008 in New York and was a great success! Our staff had the opportunity to meet in person, interact with many of you and promote our center and corporate sponsors.

At the end of our newsletter you will find a 20% discount coupon, especially for our members, on geoengineering books published by CRC Press. We hope you will take advantage of this great offer!

On a personal note, I would like to inform you that since September I joined the Geotechnical group of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the University of Michigan. I am hopeful that through this position, Geoengineer.org and I will be able to make a greater impact to the geoengineering profession.

On behalf of the Geoengineer.org team,

    Dimitrios Zekkos, Ph.D., P.E.

    Managing Director of Geoengineer.org
    Assistant Professor, Geotechnical Group.
Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
