 ARE YOU AWARE OF THESE RESOURCE WEBSITES?
In addition to its numerous resources
and tools, Geoengineer.org has established the Geoengineer.org Website
Network: A growing number of independent geo-websites that are hosted and
supported by Geoengineer.org. In this issue we present these websites. Currently
9 websites are supported by Geoengineer.org and more are currently under
development.
If you would like to create a resource website and you need support, or
if you would like to permanently host a website for your committee or
research project, please contact us. If the website is of interest to the
Geoengineering community we will be glad to help.

What is the Geo-website network
The
Geo-website network is a series of websites hosted by the Geoengineer
website. Some of these websites have been developed by Geoengineer.org
whereas other are simply hosted and supported by Geoengineer.org
Through the Geo-website network, Geoengineer.org provides additional
interest-specific resources to its visitors and helps facilitate the
circulation of information in Geoengineering.
The member websites of the Geoengineer.org Geo- website network can also
take advantage of the various tools available by Geoengineer.org.

This
resource website aims to facilitate the exchange of information among
members of the Geoengineering community that are involved in risk and
reliability issues.

This site

(block-in-matrix materials) for geological and geotechnical
practitioners.

Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering Portal
The
Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering Portal intends to provide useful
resources on geotechnical earthquake engineering. The website classifies
available information in categories. Current categories include:
Liquefaction engineering, earthquake events and reports, site response
analysis, seismic slope stability, photo gallery, ground motions, design
codes, soil structure interaction, research institutes.

Joint Working Group on Geotechnical engineering for disaster
mitigation and Rehabilitation
Hosted by Southeast Asian Geotechnical Society
The
objectives of the JWG-DMR are to: (1) share
information relevant to geotechnical engineers on issues pertaining to
the mitigation of natural disasters (e.g., tsunamis, earthquakes,
landslides) and (2) pool our expertise together to provide technical support
on reconstruction and rehabilitation works pertaining to geotechnical
engineering. The basic functions of this JWG-DMR
are to plan and coordinate activities that serve our common objectives

journal is a high quality publication focusing on case histories in
geoengineering. An internationally recognized editorial board reviews all
