Geoengineer Website: An effort of one becomes an effort of thousands
I am sure you noted that the format and presentation of the newsletter has improved significantly hopefully making it more attractive. The format and the content of the website also is constantly improving and the reason is one: The Geoengineer website started from an effort of one person but has become really an effort of thousands. This is proven also by the amount of information presented in this newsletter. Within the last 2 months we received more than enough information to significantly enhance the content of the website and make it more useful. Many respected members of the geo-community have contributed to the content and you can see a list of them below.
I typically briefly present the content of the newsletter, but due to the amount of the material I do not have space to do that. I only say that we are honored to receive so useful material by these contributors and we hope that even more will follow their example. Dr. E. Hoek and Professor P. Marinos made available some of their works, N. Matasovic sent us interesting photos of geoengineering practice for our gallery as did A. Bruschi from Italy and of course A. Breitenbach with his third part of series or articles in the virtual geoengineer. Also, G. Beim, A. Chrzanowski, A. Farris, N. Konstantinidou contributed by informing us of interesting resources. Financial support by gINT Software and GAEA helped cover some of the expenses of this effort and we appreciate their support.
This growing interest only encourage us to continue with new ideas and also forces us to keep improving our content and presentation. New ideas keep coming and you will hear more about those in the future. I think I am talking on behalf of the Geoengineering Community when I say: "thank you".
